November 29th is a big day for welcoming the Holidays in Shasta Cascade

Get into the Spirit of Christmas with this Week’s Holiday Celebrations throughout the Shasta Cascade region!
Check out these three events that will get you feeling like it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas:

  • If you’re in Siskiyou County, be a spectator or fall in line with the Annual Holiday Parade in Yreka. It starts at 11 am and goes through the downtown historical district; it is the largest daytime holiday parade in Northern California and Southern Oregon!
  • The Country Christmas Faire is the place to be if you need to do some Christmas shopping or are just looking for a fun way to welcome the season. There will be arts and crafts booths, food booths, live music, photos with Santa, and much more. Event runs from 10-3, November 29th at the Modoc District Fairgrounds in Cedarville.
  • If you’re looking to enjoy the happenings further West in the region, don’t miss the Bridge Lighting and Fireworks in Lewiston, near Weaverville. Accompanying this small town family celebration are also crafters and food booths music and other expected festivities. It starts at 3 PM. Get there in time to enjoy the day and get your free cotton candy!
