4th of July Events in the Shasta Cascade

Anderson Explodes – Shasta District Fairgrounds
July 3rd
Admission is free and the event begins at 4 pm. There will be face painting, games, a $10 community barbecue put on by 4H and FFA as well as a 50/50 raffle, and Mosquito Serenade will be featuring “WeR1″. The fireworks will begin at 10 pm following the auto races.

Freedom Festival – Redding Convention Center
July 4th
This all day event will be pack with food vendors, games and live entertainment as well as being able to boast the largest fireworks display in Northern California. There will be performances by Kids Unlimited, WeR1, Country Gold Dancers and the Shasta College Community Band. The fireworks begin at 10 pm.

Burney Basin Days
July 1st-5th
Events include a Chuck Wagon Breakfast, Main Street Parade, Craft Fair, BBQ, Cribbage Tournament, Horseshoe Tournament and the fireworks event beginning at 5 pm at Burney High School.

4th of July Celebration – Mt. Shasta
July 2nd-4th
There will be a fun-run/walk beginning at 8:30 am, a parade at noon and the fireworks over Lake Sisikiyou will start at dusk.

Fandango Days – Alturas
July 3rd-5th
Events will include a car cruise, park pavilion dance, fish derby, and a parade. The fireworks will be at the end of the Afternoon in the Park car show.

Weaverville
July 2nd-5th
Activities will include train rides, a paintball competition, a kids BMX race, concessions, live music, arm wrestling and horseshoe competitions, softball and cribbage tournaments and street dancing at Lowden Park. The Highland Art Center will be having an arts and crafts fair, the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center will be performing, the Weaverville Art Cruise will happen from 5-8 pm and the fireworks begin at 10 pm.

Red Bluff Heritage Days – Tehama District Fairgrounds
July 4th
Activities leading up to the fireworks will include lawn mower races, a tractor pull, a strong man competition, a small carnival, a car show, a Teen Miss contest and a live band.

Chester/Lake Almanor
July 4th
Events taking place in the area include a 5K fun run, the annual parade and craft fair, the Lions Club barbecue, a duck race, the Momboosa Music Festival and the fireworks starting at 9 pm.
