- An interesting sight to see is the Emigrant Trail, which nearly 21,000 people traveled upon in hopes of establishing a new life in California around 1849.
- Grab a pair of snow shoes and get ready for an adventure to Patterson Lake, which is a pristine, emerald green colored lake.
- Experience a little piece of history by visiting the historic California post, Fort Bidwell.
PLUMAS
- Spot sandhill cranes, bald eagles, ducks and songbirds in the Sierra Valley in Plumas County.

TEHAMA
